The Obra series is based on the remodelling of a house where I once lived. I was curious of the architect’s drawings and the contrast of new materials replacing old ones. I rescued a piece of wood from the emerging rubble of the kitchen, the white paint still clinging to the surface. This brooch contains a fragment of that wood with a nail still intact.
